In September of 2005, upon invitation from the China Association of Chain Drug Stores, Robert was a guest and Key Speaker at the 2005 International Forum on Development of the China Pharmaceutical Retail Industry. The Forum was held in Beijing and was attended by senior executives from China's 100 top chain drug stores, senior executives from multinational and local pharmaceutical manufacturers, officials from the China Food and Drug Administration, local Beijing governmental officials and guests from Europe and Japan. Robert's presentation was a synopsis of current developments in the US drug store industry and a discussion of possible transforming initiatives currently under way.
